The WNYBAC gallery and printshop and 2nd floor multi-use performance and meeting space are the primary resources where collaborative members and the local community come together to create and display their work. This public space is one of only a few similar book arts centers found around the country and has quickly become well regarded as a site for visiting artists and innovative programming.

WNYBAC is a 501 (c) 3 non profit educational organization offering School Field Trips and Adult Workshops along with ongoing art exhibits in its main gallery, a printing museum and working community printshop, a members reference library and book and supply shop.

On display at the Buffalo International Airport - BNIA - The Gallery Regional Showcase is a selection of hand-printed posters using vintage wood and metal type and blocks in the WNYBAC collection along with a few printing artifacts that date back to the mid 1800s. Materials in the WNYBAC collection are primarily rescued from area print shops that have closed down but seeing new life as teaching tools and unique objects that have their own qualities often imitated in digital form but rarely duplicated.

The Western New York Book Arts Center is located in Downtown Buffalo just steps from both the Central Library and the Downtown Hyatt Hotel.
